We're learning more and more on this trip how important it is to put our full trust in God, even when everything isn't going as we planned. Today was a day to see the need for trust more. We started off the day picking up kids and parents in the bus for Sunday School. It is such a joy to see their smiling faces and receive their hugs as they climb aboard the big yellow bus. Church started off with songs, then we separated into classes. Krissy taught Sunday School in Spanish and did an amazing job! She shared with the kids the importance of accepting Jesus as their Savior so that they may have the gift of eternal life. We got to spend some more time with the kids as they took turns saying memorized Bible verses. After church we went back to the house for lunch. Unfortunately we started having trouble with the bus that we were supposed to take to Roatan, even after much work we weren't going to be able to take it. The guys were fixing things up for the trip all afternoon then we lost power at the house. It is during these times we need to trust God more because He still had a plan. He didn't forget about us, and He wasn't going to abandon us. We got all loaded into the vehicles we were taking and headed to church for service. We got the opportunity to sing and Tomas testified. I am continually amazed as I see God's hand through out our time here! The song we sang lined right up with the great message that Brother Alan preached, about God receiving the glory. We had a great alter service, hearts were touched and we were able to pray with the youth that are going to camp. After church we loaded into the vehicles and headed for Roatan. I am excited to see how God is going touch lives, as I know He will, at camp this week. Please keep us in your prayers as we continue to learn to fully trust God, even when things aren't going as planned.
