Your "YES"

Have you ever responded to a request with a "yes" only to wonder if you will regret that decision? What if you are asked to do something you are not comfortable doing?
Perhaps that's why we seem to hold back a part of ourselves from God. Sometimes to truly surrender is to be willing to go to lengths that we would never consider.

God's grace has already freed us from the hold of sin so why not give Him permission to do as He desires through us? When we fall in love with Jesus we would not be so hesitant to surrender our dreams, our desires, and our hearts.

Are you afraid of telling God that you are willing to do ANYTHING for Him only to have Him call you to some remote village in Africa? What if He sends you down the street to tell your drug addicted neighbor that there is hope for his life?

Sometimes your "yes" means staying put and serving your local community.

Sometimes it means taking the Gospel to the lost on the other side of the world.
Perhaps it's both.

No matter where God places you on the map there are desperate souls searching for hope.

Just say "yes" and allow God to place you.

Is there something you feel God is tugging on your heart about but there is a fear or worry about what it might cost you or take you? Feel free to comment about it below...

I enjoy reading these blog posts, this one spoke to me because of the power in saying yes to God. 13 months and 3 days ago, I experienced true salvation, it was that night I learned the truth about really living for God and the truth about what Deuteronomy 22:5 says and when caught that revelation it changed everything for me. When I said yes to God and yes to changing how I dressed I had no idea what it would cost me, but I have learned in the last 13 months that choosing to live for God and choosing to live Holiness would cost me everything!! Tho this lifestyle cost me many friends, a church that had supported me for 7 years, and a job that I loved! However, I am sooo thankful for all God has called me to in the last 13 months! :D

My name is Amber Marshall. I graduated from Free Gospel Bible Institute in 2019. I left Bible school with an overwhelming desire to help others, but, like many, I wondered how I could. This blog is my chance to do that using my passion for writing. I pray that anything that is published on this website ministers and blesses others!
