I believe that the issue facing us today is more than an outrageous bathroom policy, a recurring terrorist threat, a dramatic political show, and an increasing lack of respect from our youth. It's a sin issue. It ought not to be that one is considered worse than another.
Lying is just as great a sin as murder.
Stealing is just as great a sin as adultery.
Sin is a disease that begins in the secret places of our hearts and continues to take control until it has our actions, attitudes, and thoughts completely under its grasp.
The problem is that many want to continue living with the "pleasures" of their sin but reject the possibility of consequences of their sin.
"For the wages of sin is death..."
Aren't you glad we have a Father Who loved us so much to pay the "wages" of our sin!
"...but the gift of God is eternal life through JESUS CHRIST our Lord." (Romans 6:23)
This disease called sin is destroying the Godly foundation this great country was founded on. It's eating away at the morals of our government, chueches, and families.
And finally, it's causing us to destroy our own selves by making us believe that we can enjoy it's clutches and make Heaven. How wrong we are!
