At this time every year we almost always take a mental note to reevaluate our life and perhaps make new commitments. Maybe you even take a pen and paper in hand to write put some goals or changes you would like to make in your life.
Whether you are 10, 20, or even 30, we all are faced with the question of how we are to fulfill the will of God. We desire to know His calling on our lives. If you are know what God's will is for your life we want to encourage you not to resist. Don't just tolerate it. And don't merely endure it. Embrace it! There's nothing more safer or satisfying than being in the center of His will. Listen to the prayer of Betty Stan, a missionary to China, martyred at age 27... "Lord, I give up my own purposes and plans, all my own desires, hopes, and ambitions, and I accept Thy will for my life. I give up myself, my life, my all utterly to Thee to be Thine forever. I hand over to Thy keeping all of my friendships. All of the people whom I love are to take second place in my heart. Fill me now and seal me with Thy Spirit. Work out Thy whole will for my life at any cost, for to me to live is Christ. Amen." Open your arms but more importantly, open your heart to Him in 2019.
